After having an accident on my motorbike, I managed to do a lot of damage to the frame of the bike. At the time of the accident my financial situation was not ideal and I wouldn’t have been able to pay for the repairs. The Brig-y-Don Children’s Charity were so kind to me and paid for all of the repairs to be done.
Not only did they pay for all my bike repairs, to keep me mobile and still be able to commute to work, but when I decided to undertake a diploma in team leading at Highlands college they were so unbelievably generous and paid for my whole course, it cost about £1,100 and I couldn’t be more grateful for the support they have given me down the years.
